Don’t be alarmed when you hear there are 80+ types of genders & gender identities. Someone who is new to gender identity terms and transgender-inclusive language, might feel overwhelmed initially at the idea of having to learn about 81 new-to-them language terms.

Fact: There are NOT actually 80+ different genders. However, from around-the-world and across cultures, there are at least 80 ways to describe gender.
