We support two-spirit, trans and non-binary people through the process of changing their name and/or gender marker. Join us at the next Name Change Clinic at Mount Saint Vincent University on Friday, December 1 between 1p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Our clinic will provide assistance with legal name and gender marker changes. We will have volunteers on site. They can legally witness the signing of your forms.
This clinic is possible through the generous support of the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.

SGF Inclusion Name and Gender Marker Pathway
The Simply Good Form Name and Gender Marker pathway was created with support from Mental Health Foundation Nova Scotia. It simplifies the name and gender marker change process for transgender people in Canada.
This pathway is free for transgender and non-binary people. It is designed to simplify the name and gender marker change process in Nova Scotia and across Canada.

At the Clinics, we have a volunteer legal team who will review your completed forms and sign them for you. Be sure to check the pathway for the forms and ID to bring for review. Forms will be onsite and we will have a team of volunteers to help you fill them in correctly.
